Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, is seeking Rally Raid Technicians to build, prepare, and maintain Ford Raptor T1+ race vehicles for international events. You will work closely with engineers, drivers and crews to ensure race-winning performance and reliability.

The role demands meticulous workmanship, strong diagnostic skills, and willingness to travel globally for tests and events. A Level 3 Light Vehicle or Race Technician credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 Light Motor Vehicle or Race Technician standard.
• Meticulous attention to detail with high-quality workmanship.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills; practical issue resolution.
• Multitask, prioritise workloads and perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication; capable of independent and cross-functional work.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support events and tests.
• Demonstrates a strong motorsport work ethic and dedication to success.

Responsibilities

• Build, prepare and maintain competition vehicles to high standards of quality and reliability.
• Provide mechanical support at international events and test programmes.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues under time pressure.
• Support development of current and future vehicle systems and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers, drivers and support crews to maximise performance.
• Assist with vehicle strip-downs, inspections and routine maintenance between events.
• Contribute to reliability improvements across the Rally Raid programme.
