Job summary

CrossCountry is recruiting a Technical Services Manager in Birmingham with hybrid working to lead the Technical Services team and provide professional engineering leadership in support of the Safety Case. You will report to the Head of Fleet and Engineering and influence engineering solutions across the rail industry.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status required.
• Experience in railway engineering.
• Ability to lead and communicate in safety-critical environments.
• Strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering leadership in support of the Safety Case.
• Lead assurance and compliance activities for engineering standards.
• Manage performance and reliability analysis to identify improvements.
• Develop and line-manage the Technical Services team.
• Support on-call fleet activities and incident investigations.
