Job summary

Southeastern Railway is seeking a Service Engineer to carry out routine repairs and examination work, performing first-level fault finding under the Team Leader’s direction. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on our latest fleet of trains. Applicants should have mechanical/electrical experience, practical aptitude, ability to read schematics, basic IT skills, and a valid driving licence.

A safety-critical medical and right-to-work checks apply. Transport to work is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience skilled mechanical / electrical work.
• Practical Aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow schematics and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems and computer skills.
• Possess a full Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out routine repairs, examination work and first level fault finding as directed by the Team Leader.
• You will also get the chance to work on our newest/latest fleet of trains that SE has to offer.
