Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Railway Security Officer in the UK. Based in Bletchley, you will patrol stations and trains, engage with the public, support vulnerable passengers, and work with rail staff and police to deter crime and ensure a safe travel environment.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence and full UK manual driving licence required.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn; training provided.
• Security experience valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offer guidance and a friendly face as a first point of contact for customers.
• Ensure safety and security of colleagues and customers, providing a sense of assurance.
• Be a smart, approachable, and proactive security presence.
• Manage incidents effectively while remaining calm under pressure.
• Conduct security patrols, manage access points, and deter unauthorised activity.
• Build strong relationships as part of a supportive and professional team.
