Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Project Manager for its Burton upon Trent site to lead and deliver rail projects safely, on time and within budget. You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to meet customer specifications and business goals.

This permanent, full-time role requires experience in manufacturing or engineering and strong communication skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships and project governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to develop, lead and implement projects with high business impact.
• Proven financial, quantitative, and data analysis skills.
• Budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Projects in line with project plans and specifications.
• Produce internal reports to the Executive Team on cost to complete and cash flow.
• Manage project risks and opportunities to ensure a successful outcome.
• Promote safety culture within Wabtec and railway safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with QA processes and project milestones.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
• Monitor costs and implement measures to control spending against tenders.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and act as primary customer contact.
