Rail Welders - MMA 1-5

Location: South Wales, East / West Midlands, North West, South East

Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 per annum depending upon Level of skills and experience plus:

  • Company van + fuel card

Summary

My client, a multi-disciplinary service provider for the rail and construction sectors, is looking for experienced Rail Welders specifically with experience in manual metal arc welding grades 1-5 and Flux Core 1&2; however, they are open to all levels of experience.

You will join a professional and dynamic team of welding professionals working on rail welding projects across South Wales. You will enjoy the benefits of permanent employment with guaranteed hours, overtime, paid holidays, private health, a pension scheme, company vehicle, and fuel card to ensure security of income and employment.

The role

Successful applicants will be working as part of a 2-4 man team (dependent on skill set) within our NWR framework and other projects across South Wales. Joining our team of highly skilled professionals offers excellent opportunities for career development, with our succession plan identifying individual skills upgrades.

What experience would we like you to have:

  • Manual Metal Arc welding grades 1-5 and Flux Core 1&2.
  • Personal Track Safety (PTS) and a full UK driving licence.
  • Must hold a current valid Sentinel Welding competencies.
  • Trained in the use of the Robel 13:49 (Desirable).

The client will also look to better any current salary or package if the skills match up to experience.
