Job summary

Arup is seeking graduates to join its Transport Group, offering exposure to geometic alignment design for rail and highways, civil structures, drainage, and intelligent 3D modelling. You will engage with clients, authorities and stakeholders while developing your engineering, digital and management skills through large multi-disciplinary projects from feasibility to construction.

Candidates should be pursuing a Civil Engineering or Project & Programme Management qualification and be proficient

Qualifications

• Working towards a Civil Engineering or Project & Programme Management qualification.
• 2D or 3D design software such as AutoCAD or similar.
• Engineering assessment and analysis (e.g. hydraulic modelling, soil mechanics or structural analysis).
• Communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assessment, analysis, and design, preparing feasibility studies, design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborating with Arup colleagues in other disciplines
• Working with landscape architects, environmental specialists, and planners.
• Meeting with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including site visits.
• Using specialist analysis and design software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Bently MicroStation, ProjectWise, Navisworks
