Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in an NMC environment and with radio/transmission systems.
• Background in Operational Service Delivery or Projects.
• Knowledge of PDH/SDH/MPLS/IP and related management systems.
• Experience with the listed equipment (Marconi SMAs, Nokia/Ericsson/Nokia MPLS, MV36/MV38, NMS100, Synfonet).
• Understanding of configuration management, safety procedures and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provision, alter and remove services across radio and transmission systems.
• Apply software and firmware updates and maintain system documentation.
• Coordinate with Service Desk, third‑party suppliers and NMC teams.
• Carry out network management activities, fault-finding and testing.
• Provide on‑call support and produce configuration status reports.
