Job summary

Matchtech Group is recruiting multiple Telecoms Engineers to support rail infrastructure projects across South Wales. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of telecoms systems, with emphasis on CCTV, PA and CIS within station environments.

The position is on-site across Cardiff, Tenby and Newport with 8-hour day and night shifts. It offers a competitive rate paid per shift and is contracted via Umbrella CIS engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience on telecoms or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience with CIS, CCTV and PA systems.
• Valid PTS certification.
• Valid ECS Card.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
• Strong focus on safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance and fault finding on telecoms and station systems.
• Working on CCTV, Public Address, and Customer Information Systems
• Testing and commissioning telecoms equipment.
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with project requirements.
• Completing supporting documentation and site records.
• Working collaboratively with site teams and project stakeholders.
