Job summary

Vital Human Resources are recruiting a Technical Clerk for a rail client in Leeds. You will provide essential technical and administrative support to an engineering team, ensuring that technical information, records and project documentation are accurate, up to date and effectively managed.

You’ll join an established rail organisation with opportunities for progression; the role is contract-based with a pathway to permanent. Weekly pay and a competitive rate are offered as part of the package.

• Knowledge of a relevant technical function or engineering activity.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to manage and maintain accurate technical information and records.

Responsibilities

• Analysing and presenting data to support engineering recommendations and decision-making.
• Providing technical and administrative support to the engineering team.
• Locating, collating and maintaining technical data and records.
• Maintaining technical publications, data and engineering records.
• Assisting with the preparation of reports, documentation and other required project outputs.
• Managing and maintaining key project engineering registers.
• Supporting engineering and project teams with accurate and timely information.
• Ensuring technical documentation and records are maintained to a high standard.
