Harsco Rail, a global supplier of MoW products and services, is seeking an engineer to maintain the Stoneblower Fleet across UK depots. You will perform scheduled maintenance, electrical/mechanical fault finding and ensure maintenance documentation is accurate and timely.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, IT literacy, and a strong commitment to safety and quality with adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or recognised mechanical/electrical/maintenance engineering qualification.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, fault finding and repair.
• IT literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft systems.
• Calibration and understanding of rail plant operating.
• Competent in current maintenance standards.

Responsabilités

• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on the Stoneblower Fleet.
• Complete machine VMI in a timely manner.
• Servicing and minor repairs completed within required timeframe.
• Performance of machine following daily maintenance.
• Condition of machine.
• Timely ordering of parts/equipment.
• 5S within depot.
• Complete administration tasks in a timely manner.
• Submission of completed maintenance documentation.
• Quality of maintenance documentation.
• Report defects and carry out repairs within competency level.
• Ensure planned maintenance duties are completed in line with policies.

Qualified as mechanical / electrical / maintenance engineer
