We are currently recruiting for a QEHS Manager, with behavioural safety and London Underground/Network Rail/ Rail standards experience, to join the Asset Management side of our business. Based from our office near Canning Town, this role requires flexibility as working 1 week a month of nights will be a requirement for this role.

Key Requirements:
  • Promote a positive QEHS culture to stakeholders and employees.
  • Knowledge and experience of Behavioural Based Safety Practices
  • Ideally have previous experience of working in a fire maintenance environment
  • Must have extensive Rail knowledge; London Underground, London Overground, Crossrail/Elizabeth Line or Network Rail
  • Hold a recognised industry Health and Safety qualification, e.g., NEBOSH General or equivalent
  • Experience of developing working relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers - essential
  • Previous internal auditing experience
  • Have a full UK driving licence
Responsibilities:
  • Review and develop fire safety related policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Help to plan, implement, monitor, and review the protective and preventative measures identified by hazard analysis and risk assessment for our Fire maintenance contract.
  • Outline safe operating procedures, identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure control measures are effective (fire detection/fire suppression).
  • Deliver and drive the agreed QEHS Fire Key Performance Indicators.

Who you are:

The successful candidate will have previous QEHS Manager expertise, knowledge and experience of behavioural safety practices, along with London Underground and/or Network Rail/Rail industry experience.
