Arriva Kent & Surrey Limited is launching a two-year Graduate Programme in Digital, aimed at graduates ready to develop capabilities in AI, BI and data analytics to improve rail services. The role offers hybrid work at Crewe depot with travel to York, Leeds and Derby.

We look for curious, driven graduates who enjoy solving problems, building relationships, and delivering business transformation. Availability in September 2027 and right to work in the UK are required.

The Graduate Opportunity

As an Arriva Rail Services Graduate specialising in Digital, you'll help explore how technology can improve the way Arriva's rail services operate, making journeys better for customers and creating efficiencies across the business. You'll work alongside colleagues who are driving innovation and digital transformation across the rail network.

During the programme, you'll gain experience in areas such as digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), business intelligence (BI), data analytics and process improvement. You'll develop an understanding of how digital solutions can solve real business challenges while building valuable technical and problem-solving skills for your future career.

Location: This role is based at our Crewe depot and will require travel to York, Leeds and Derby. The role operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week at the depot or another Arriva workplace.

The Graduate Programme

Alongside your role, you'll be part of our two-year graduate development programme, benefiting from structured learning, mentoring, exposure to senior leaders and a connected graduate network across Arriva.

The breadth of experience gained throughout the programme will help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to support digital innovation across the business.

You may also have opportunities to undertake relevant learning and professional development in areas such as artificial intelligence, business intelligence, data analytics, digital technologies and project management.

• To be on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a degree (2:1 preferred, with strong 2:2 applications considered)
