Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Rail Sentinel Coordinator for our client based in South Lanarkshire.

Role Overview

This is a critical support role within a fast-paced railway environment, ensuring staff competencies, fatigue management, and compliance with industry standards are up to date and accurately recorded. Based at the East Kilbride office, the successful candidate will play a key part in the smooth running of daily operations, with occasional out-of-hours support required to meet the demands of a 24/7 rail service.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update staff competency records in line with industry requirements
Manage and update training matrices and fatigue management systems
Coordinate submittal of paperwork and subcontractor requests accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards via the Rail Sentinel system
Provide administrative support to the operational team
Be available occasionally for evening or weekend work, when operationally required

Skills & Experience

Prior experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally within rail or construction
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and spreadsheets
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Understanding of fatigue management and competency tracking is desirable
Willingness to undertake training in the Rail Sentinel system
Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work independently

Offering

Salary between £30,000 and £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
Occasional evening and weekend work required based on business needs
Full training provided on Rail Sentinel
