Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a Scheme Project Manager to deliver low complexity projects safely, on time and to budget within an infrastructure programme. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across commercial, controls, engineering and delivery to meet client requirements and drive robust baselines.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and proactive stakeholder engagement. You will work in a hybrid office pattern, supporting complex railway schemes and ensuring safety and quality

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
• Membership (or working towards) of the Association for Project Management.
• PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver low complexity projects safely, to time, cost and quality.
• Support project sponsor in defining project requirements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to identify solutions and baselines.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigations and respond to issues.
• Plan resource allocations and secure internal/external resources.
• Engage stakeholders and manage their interests.
• Run project reviews and inform governance decisions.
• Manage scope changes and update configuration documents.
• Support accident investigations when required.
