Job summary

Rullion is hiring Mechanical & Electrical Rolling Stock Technicians for a 12-month fixed term contract based in London (W10) and Eastleigh (SO50). The role involves planned modifications, maintenance, fault-finding and vehicle modification on modern passenger rolling stock as part of a major fleet upgrade project.

We require an Engineering Apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience and a background in regulated engineering environments.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, overhaul or modification activities.

Responsibilities

• Planned modifications and upgrades.
• Maintenance, servicing and defect rectification.
• Testing, commissioning and fault diagnosis.
• Reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Recording work through maintenance management systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
