Job summary

Harsco Rail is seeking a Skilled Plant Technician to perform maintenance, modifications and repairs on the Stoneblower Fleet. The role focuses on keeping machines available, servicing within deadlines, and ensuring machine condition aligns with maintenance plans.

Occasional field service work may be required across locations in the UK. Candidates should have a time-served apprenticeship in engineering or a recognised mechanical/electrical/maintenance qualification, with experience in the railway

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline or recognised mechanical/electrical/maintenance engineering qualification.
• Experience within the railway industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out annual maintenance, modification and repairs on the Stoneblower Fleet.
• Maintain machines against the agreed maintenance plan.
• Carry out lone working field service repairs at various locations (full UK driving licence required).
