Job summary

Siemens Mobility in London–Hornsey offers a 36‑month Rail Engineering Technician apprenticeship. You will work toward the Level 3 apprenticeship standard, with in‑person day release and NTAR as the provider, gaining hands‑on rail depot experience and a pathway to a permanent role on successful completion.

Starting salary is £16,000 with benefits. The programme includes technical training, mentoring, and a Business Impact Project, plus exposure to real operations and a clear development path.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English Language.
• Must not have completed Level 3 Engineering Diploma (BTEC), Level 3 AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) or Level 2 PEO (Performing Engineering Operations).

Responsibilities

• Always turning up keen to learn and apply yourself.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and rectify complex faults.
• Work safely and efficiently within a dynamic rail depot environment.
• Collaborate with experts to ensure operational excellence.
