Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Southampton invites you to start a Level 3 Rail Engineering Technician apprenticeship. You'll gain hands-on experience, participate in training days, and deliver a Business Impact Project while training with NTAR, leading to a permanent role on successful completion.

The programme runs 36 months with in-person delivery and End Point Assessment. Applicants should have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English; no Level 3 engineering diploma is required.

Qualifications

• You will have achieved or be on track to achieve at least 5 GCSEs grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English Language.
• There is no Level 3 Engineering Diploma (BTEC) required for this apprenticeship.
• Level 3 AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) or Level 2 PEO are not eligible prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-person day release and complete an End Point Assessment.
• Engage with training provider NTAR to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Deliver a Business Impact Project proposing a change to a business process.
