Job summary

AmcoGiffen is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our rail-focused team across South Wales and the Wales & Western region. You will work on electrical installation, containment, and lighting projects at multiple sites, while contributing to testing, fault-finding, and maintenance tasks.

Travel to various locations and occasional away-from-home work are required. PTS sponsorship or training can be provided; rail experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical trade capability and safe working practices.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
• PTS/rail-specific training can be provided or sponsored where needed.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation works across rail projects.
• Cable installation and containment.
• Power and lighting installations.
• Systems Fixed Plant electrical works.
• Testing and fault-finding activities.
• Electrical maintenance and renewals on rail sites.
• Support delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects.
