Remarkable Jobs are recruiting a Civil Engineer (Rail Drainage) to join a growing rail team delivering drainage design and track-related civil works across UK projects. The role is hybrid, with office-based work in Basingstoke and Slough and flexible home working.

You will contribute to design, planning and execution from inception to handover, working with multidisciplinary colleagues while maintaining safety, quality and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in rail civil design.
• Strong background in civil engineering design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Project support from inception to completion, meeting quality, timelines and budgets.
• Carry out detailed civil engineering design compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers, contractors, and environmental specialists.
• Maintain high engineering standards and ensure project deliverables meet safety regulations.
• Stay updated with rail engineering advancements and contribute ideas for efficiency and sustainability.
