Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience working on the UK rail infrastructure?

Do you want to work for a tier-one rail contractor that can offer you amazing progression opportunities?

Location: Acton
Duration: 6 months
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 P/A

We're seeking an ambitious and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team of a tier-one rail contractor working on HS2. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the commercial team, gaining hands-on exposure to projects and progressing quickly in your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial administration, including managing records and reports.
  • Processing and reconciling timesheets.
  • Tracking project costs and ensuring accurate records.
  • Assisting with cost reconciliation and reporting.
  • Progressing into forecasting, subcontractor management, and broader commercial duties.


Requirements:

  • Ideally degree or diploma qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (but attitude and willingness to develop are just as important).
  • Previous contractor-side experience on rail projects is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility over time.
