Job summary

RAFAKidz Limited is seeking Casual Early Years Educators for our Walter’s Ash and High Wycombe settings. Join a nurturing team and contribute to a safe, engaging environment for children, with flexible hours and opportunities to move to permanent roles.

Role focuses on play-based learning, outdoor activities, and supporting meals and daily routines. DBS checks are required periodically; prior childcare experience is welcome but not essential.

• Previous childcare experience is desirable but not essential.

• Great sense of humor and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on and creative messy and outdoor play activities.
• Help with meals and snack times according to nursery routines.
• Keep records on children’s progress and daily activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Meet and greet families and build strong relationships.
• Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS.

Whilst previous experience within a childcare setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for Casual Early Years Educators who have a genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour! A typical day in the role will include (depending on your experience):

• Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
• Helping with meals and snack times
• Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
• Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
• Meet and greet families and build great relationships
• Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
