Job summary

Royal Air Force is seeking a driver to operate a wide range of general and specialist vehicles at an RAF Station in the UK, with potential overseas service during exercises and operations. You will drive vehicles across the UK, Europe and worldwide deployments, and support airfields with specialist vehicles to ensure personnel and equipment arrive safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of vehicles throughout the UK, Europe, and worldwide deployments or field exercises.
• Train and operate specialist vehicles supporting RAF airfields in the UK and worldwide.
• Transport personnel and goods (including hazardous materials) between units using LGV, coaches and Troop Carrying Vehicles.
• Refuel aircraft using tankers and clear runways of snow and ice using specialist airfield support vehicles
