Job summary

Electronics Engineer/Mould Room Technician at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital seeks an adaptable electronics professional to maintain radiotherapy equipment, perform QA checks, and support the mould room for patient immobilisation devices. Training is provided; NHS environment with structured care and safety culture.

You will work on high voltage equipment with radiation considerations, documenting results and collaborating with radiographers and physics staff to ensure safe treatments.

Qualifications

• Professional electronics knowledge to degree or equivalent level (BEng/BTech/HND+).
• Experience in electronic, electrical or technical engineering environments.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnosing technical problems.
• Able to communicate with colleagues and other professions.
• Ability to work safely around high voltage equipment and radiation hazards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine QA checks and maintenance on radiotherapy equipment.
• Record QA results and equipment performance data accurately.
• Diagnose faults and assist with repairs under supervision.
• Assist with mould room manufacture of patient immobilisation devices.
• Support ISO9001:2015 quality system procedures and audits.
