Would you like to work within a small, dedicated team committed to delivering radiopharmaceuticals for patients at the Trust? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Radiopharmacy Assistant to join our team.
The role of a Radiopharmacy Assistant within the team involves assisting and completing various technical duties, including administrative support, stock ordering and receipt, stock control, preparation for production sessions, environmental monitoring (microbial and radiation) in the Radiopharmacy, and maintaining the cleanliness of the pharmaceutical clean room environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual who is eager to learn new skills, particularly in radiation protection and clean room environments.
This role directly impacts patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, requiring the post holder to liaise with a wide range of staff in Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Medical Physics, as well as with external equipment/product manufacturers and other organizations.
