Kent Hospital in the Care New England Health System is seeking an entry-level support role in the diagnostic imaging department. The position involves assisting technologists with film processing, patient movement, and ER report retrieval, as well as transporting patients between units.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and at least six months of related experience, with flexibility to work across front office and file room areas as needed within the department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) and six months of job-related experience are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist technologist in processing films, reload film cartridges, restock processing chemicals, and fix minor film processor issues.
• Assist technologists in moving patients on/off x-ray tables as needed.
• Assist senior technologists in obtaining ER reports.
• Transport patients between hospital units.
• Perform miscellaneous duties: copy films, watch patients, and run errands within the hospital as needed.
• Support front office and file room areas as required within the department.
