Radiology Fellowship Fixed Term 12 months. 4 Positions
Applications are invited for post CCT Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowships to commence in August 2026, based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, Stanmore, and Middlesex.
This is a post-CCT position and depending upon the applicants, may be awarded Honorary Fellow status by University College London through the Institute of Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Sciences.
The successful candidate will be expected to work eight fixed clinical sessions under the direct supervision of a Consultant Radiologist. The flexible sessions or supporting clinical activity sessions would cover additional tasks, mainly research for which there is an expectation to participate in department audit and research projects. Post holders are encouraged to pursue individual areas of research interest with financial support available for national and international presentation of work undertaken in the department. The candidate would be expected to provide the highest level of patient care in musculoskeletal imaging.

The successful candidates will gain experience in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention and will be expected to be active in research, presentation and publication. The department at RNOH has 15 full time consultant radiologists. The hospital is a leading institution of international reputation in the field of orthopaedics and is a centre of excellence for complex spinal and MSK oncological treatment. There are units for shoulder, foot and ankle, peripheral nerve injuries, paediatric orthopaedic, hip and metabolic bone disease. There is also a rheumatology and sports medicine facility in the hospital.
