Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Clinical Technologist to lead Radiation Protection and Quality Assurance services. Applications for this post are invited from experienced Clinical Technologists with an appetite to address the challenges of service growth and improvement, underpinned by experience in Radiation Protection, Diagnostic Radiology and Quality Assurance. As a member of the Radiology Physics Group the post holder manage the clinical technologist workforce of the Section and be part of Diagnostic Radiology Sub-group enabling delivery of high quality Radiation Protection, Quality Assurance and technical support services to Radiology departments within Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and other NHS and commercial organisations within South Yorkshire and beyond.
The focus of this post is to support the delivery of efficient, high-quality Radiation Protection and Quality Assurance across multiple modalities.
We require applicants who can rise to the challenge of managing operational delivery of routine and ad hoc, complex multisite/multi-customer services.
