Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking a Deputy Support Team Leader to provide day-to-day operational leadership and supervision of the Radiology Imaging Assistant workforce across the department. The post holder will support staffing, rota management, attendance monitoring and workforce development to ensure safe, efficient, patient-focused service delivery.

They will deputise for the Support Team Leader when required, assist with recruitment, induction, training and performance

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Radiology Imaging Assistant workforce.
• Manage staff rotas, annual leave and deployment.
• Monitor attendance and sickness absence in line with Trust policies.
• Support recruitment, induction and ongoing staff development.
• Maintain accurate, confidential staff records and governance compliance.
• Deputise for the Support Team Leader and escalate risks as required.
• Promote a positive team culture aligned with Trust values and service excellence.
• Participate in audit, governance and service improvement activities.
