Zusammenfassung

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for an Imaging/Healthcare Assistant to join the radiology team at the Cavendish Square site in Central London. The role supports radiographers and radiologists, provides patient care, and ensures smooth imaging workflow with a focus on compassionate communication.

You will work within a MDT in diagnostic imaging, assisting in CT/MRI/x-ray, handling appointments, and helping patients navigate the department.

Qualifikationen

• Evidence of education to GCSE / NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
• Evidence of A level in one subject or equivalent.
• Basic life support skills.
• Experience of working with a variety of staff.
• Evidence of effective interpersonal skills with particular ability to liaise with multidisciplinary team members.
• Experience of working in a pressurised environment.
• Experience of using hospital IT/electronic systems.
• Experience of working within a healthcare organisation.
• Experience of working within a relevant care environment, e.g. within a hospital in radiology or outpatient department, or nursing home.

Aufgaben

• Communicating appointment details to patients both by phone and in writing.
• Ensuring that all patients are appropriately prepared and ready for imaging at the required time.
• Assisting radiographers and Radiologists in the performance of Diagnostic Imaging examination and procedures.
• Provision of appropriate patient care.
