A leading NHS trust in Norwich is seeking a Radiology Governance Administrative Assistant to support the radiology department. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks for UKAS accreditation and ensuring compliance with clinical governance standards. Candidates should have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent, alongside office experience and basic computer skills. This position offers NHS benefits and a fixed-term contract until December 2027.

The radiology department is one of the largest within the Trust, with approximately 500 staff, offering services including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Dxa, X-ray, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional radiology. The department operates 24/7 and provides diagnostic imaging across Norfolk.
The department maintains high standards, accredited under British Standards 70000, and has recently opened a Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) near the hospital, with staff working across both sites.

The postholder will support the radiology department in achieving UKAS accreditation for the CDC, ensuring all administrative aspects meet clinical governance standards. Responsibilities include managing performance data, equipment, protocols, and audits in preparation for annual assessments, with the first scheduled for July 2026.
The role involves maintaining up-to-date documentation, data, and evidence required for accreditation visits and online submissions.
