As a Healthcare Assistant in Radiology at our Exeter Hospital, you’ll demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You will have face-to-face contact with patients and will assist radiologists during procedures, mainly involving Ultrasound and Intervention. You should have a good telephone manner, excellent computer and database skills. Qualifications to NVQ Level 2 or 3 with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting are preferred.

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is located next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. It features 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre, and an Endoscopy suite. The hospital has inpatient and outpatient wards, a pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. We are known for our MAKO robot used in joint replacement surgeries.
