As a Radiology Assistant, you will:

• Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service, ensuring patient care, respect, and dignity.
• Undertake appointment bookings.
• Work closely with Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and the Administration team.
• Participate in clinical audits and other administrative duties related to your role.
• Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS and patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing.
• Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will have:

• Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
• Experience in a work environment, preferably in a customer- or people-focused setting.
• Basic IT skills.
• A caring nature—seeing each patient as an individual and carrying out your role with understanding and empathy.
• Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
• Ability to work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
