Job description

Responsible for performing a variety of support services for the Diagnostic department.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist modality staff in preparing rooms for patient exams, including stocking and cleaning the area.
  2. Contact appropriate medical facilities, nursing units, and other healthcare providers to obtain pertinent patient information and prior exam reports required for testing.
  3. Distribute reports to physician offices and other healthcare providers as requested.
  4. Transport patients to maintain workflow and patient throughput when necessary.
  5. Assist patients in dressing areas if needed.
  6. Help move patients from stretchers to scanners and assist with patient movement.
  7. Coordinate paperwork and reports on patients throughout the department and with Radiologists.
  8. Deliver oral contrast to other hospital areas for patient preparation prior to testing.
  9. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications

A High School diploma is required. Experience working with patients in a healthcare setting is preferred.
