Job summary

GradBay is offering a Radiological Protection Graduate Programme in the UK with a starting salary of £32,000 per year. The two-year scheme includes two 12-month placements across different organisations, in Cumbria and other locations in England.

The programme provides structured development, potential professional accreditation support, and a network of industry mentors. Successful candidates will rotate through radiological risk assessment, monitoring, dose management and compliance

Qualifications

• Hold, or be on track to achieve, a minimum 2:2 degree in a relevant discipline
• Have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme
• Be willing to travel and relocate to different UK locations
• Be able to complete the required security clearance and vetting checks
• Demonstrate a collaborative, open-minded and performance-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Support radiological risk assessments
• Assist with workplace and environmental monitoring
• Contribute to radiation dose assessment and management
• Support contamination prevention and control
• Assist with radiological assurance and compliance
• Support emergency preparedness and response
• Assist with operational planning and technical support
• Identify and assess emerging radiological risks
• Provide technical advice to multidisciplinary teams

Education
