University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiographic Assistant to join their Radiology team. The successful candidate will contribute to patient care and assist Radiographers in various tasks. This role requires flexibility, effective communication, and a commitment to upholding high care standards.
Exciting opportunities exist for a Radiographic Assistant to join the Radiology team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW). The successful candidate will assist Radiographers with workload management, including preparing patients for examinations, chaperoning, data entry on the radiology information system, and equipment decontamination in ultrasound work. Full training will be provided.
The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including night shifts and weekends, as duties are 24/7. Good communication skills and an empathetic approach to patients and their relatives are essential. The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care and experience. Previous NHS experience is advantageous.
