Job summary

Nuffield Health Cardiff Hospital is seeking a Mammographer to join our radiology team on a bank, part-time basis. You will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging, work with experienced practitioners, and contribute to patient care with empathy.

Applicants should hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification in a specialization. The role offers access to state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) required.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.
• Work with leading practitioners in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Experience new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Develop policies, procedures and junior colleagues.
• See each patient as an individual and operate with understanding and empathy.
• Provide a service of the highest quality, with sensitivity and compassion.

As a Mammographer at our hospital, you’ll bring advanced technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. As well as a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), you have a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation.

As a Mammographer, you will:
