Due to service expansion and redesign, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term (until 31.10.26) Radiographer to work predominantly in CT, based at South Tyneside District Hospital, with cross-site working encouraged.
South Tyneside District Hospital has recently installed a 128-slice Siemens go.Top and a 64-slice Siemens go.All, used for various CT examinations including biopsies, colonography, and cardiac studies. The department also has four dedicated X-ray rooms, two fluoroscopy and interventional rooms, and a peripheral site for plain film imaging.
Sunderland Royal Hospital has undergone redevelopment of the Emergency Department, featuring a state-of-the-art Canon Genesis 320-slice CT scanner for rapid diagnosis, along with two additional Canon scanners used for a wide range of CT examinations.

Applicants should have postgraduate radiography experience, including some CT experience, and be capable of performing all CT radiographer responsibilities, including IV cannulation, working independently, and supporting colleagues and students.
You will work as part of the Radiology team at South Tyneside District Hospital, with scope for cross-site work at Sunderland Royal Hospital, to be discussed upon appointment.
