Role: Radiographer Band 7

Client Pay: Direct Pay Mechanism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret complex cross-sectional imaging procedures, including CT and MRI scans.
  • Lead and supervise a team of radiographers, ensuring high standards of imaging and patient care.
  • Provide expert advice on imaging techniques and protocols to clinical staff and patients.
  • Manage departmental workflows and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of imaging protocols and quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
  • Participate in on-call and out-of-hours services as required.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advancements in radiology.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a radiographer.
  • 2+ years of NHS experience mandatory
  • Extensive experience in cross-sectional imaging, including CT and MRI.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving departmental processes.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in advanced imaging or leadership.
  • Experience in research or teaching within radiology.
