London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a radiographer to join a team of radiologists, radiographers and ancillary staff providing a safe and efficient radiology service seven days a week. The role includes X-ray, Dexa and CT scanning, maintaining high radiographic standards and excellent patient care.

Work on a rota through X-ray, CT and Dexa scans; administer cannulas and IV contrast media; comply with IRMER regulations; and contribute to the teaching and training of

Qualifications

  • BSc in Radiography or equivalent required.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Demonstrates ongoing professional development.
  • Experience with X-ray, Dexa and CT modalities.
  • Knowledge of IRMER regulations.
  • Experience in teaching or training radiology staff or students.
  • Solid understanding of general radiology principles.

Job summary

To work with a team of radiologists, radiographers and ancillary staff providinge a safe and efficient radiology service 7 days a week.

Including X-ray, Dexa and CT scanning. Maintaing a high radiographic standard along with a first-rate standard of patient care.

Main duties of the job

Work on a rota system through x-ray, CT and Dexa scanning. Administration of cannulas and I.V. contrast media.

Comply with the ionizing Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (2000).
