Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Radiographer with CT and MRI skills to join the imaging department on site.

You will hold a Diploma/BSc in Radiography, be HCPC registered, and hold a valid UK work visa, with opportunities to mentor staff and ensure IRMER compliance. The Trust is committed to equality, inclusion and safe patient care.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
  • Diploma/BSc in Radiography
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Current visa to work in UK
Desirable criteria
  • CT and or MRI Post graduate qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
  • Competency in a broad spectrum of CT scanning
  • Competency in a broad spectrum of MRI scanning
  • Previous experience of working/ training in an NHS hospital.
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience working as a band 5 or Band 6 Radiographer.
Skills
Essential criteria
  • IV Cannulation and administration of IV contrast media
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of IRMER 2017
  • Evidence of computer literacy
  • Mentoring students/ new staff
