Overview

Are you an experienced or newly qualified Radiographer looking for an opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment? Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, St Marys, Portsmouth, and Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Havant, offer the chance to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a modern setting where your professional development and wellbeing matter. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week with flexible working hours available.

You’ll join a friendly and dedicated team where your skills will be valued, your ideas encouraged, and your growth supported.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective imaging services to our patients. You will:

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring exceptional standards of patient care and safety.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team to manage your examination workload efficiently.
  • Adhere to all IRMER 2017 and IRR 2017 regulations, maintaining safe radiation practices and quality assurance processes.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support theatre imaging using C-arm systems and digital radiography while maintaining ALARP radiation safety standards.
  • Contribute to service improvement through clinical audit, quality assurance, and participation in governance activities.
  • Take part in continuous professional development, keeping your HCPC registration current and your skills up to date.

You’ll be based primarily at Portsmouth or Havant, but flexibility across nearby sites may occasionally be required.
