Role Summary

Plans, designs, develops, and tests real-time software systems or applications for software enhancements and new cellular radio-related products.

Key Responsibilities

• Definition of radio software architectures and development of key features to support radio development.
• Liaison with key Systems/HW/FPGA/BSP/I&V/Test SME's to ensure software architecture can meet market requirements, is implementable within a given timeframe, and complies with company processes and product reuse goals.
• Development of documents, code, scripts, tools necessary to support software product development.
• Work with global development teams, support/chair meetings.
• Drive software development technical issues to closure, support debugging of software-related technical issues.

Job Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in real-time software development, preferably within a telecom environment (candidates without a telecom background will be considered if they can demonstrate relevant experience/skills from other industries).
• Demonstrable software skills within a real-time software environment, including requirements definition/dissemination, architecture breakdown, code development, testing, software lifecycle processes, debugging, tools, and support.
• The candidate must also demonstrate experience working in virtual teams.
• Proficient in development, office, and communication tools necessary to perform the role.
