Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hardware Engineer (RF) to join our expanding engineering team. This role offers growth opportunities into a senior position. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of advanced Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) systems within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ensure quality of RF and electronic subsystems.
• Develop advanced RF systems for high-performance software-defined radios.
• Design RF transceivers and broadband power amplifiers from DC to 12 GHz.
• Collaborate across software, firmware, PCB, and mechanical teams throughout product development.
• Utilize design and simulation tools such as SPICE, EM, and Mentor Graphics.
• Conduct testing and verification using RF test equipment and custom setups.
• Estimate, plan, and communicate work progress effectively.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Experience with some of the following is advantageous but not mandatory:

• RF and analog circuit design, simulation, and testing.
• Broadband power amplifier and switch system design.
• RF cascade analysis and system integration.
• Experience with EM and large-signal RF simulation tools.
• Knowledge of electronic components and industry trends.
• PCB testing and troubleshooting.
• Requirements management and change control.
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.

Qualifications & Security Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related STEM field (HNC/HND, BSc, MSc, PhD, etc.).
• UK or EU citizenship required for Security Clearance (SC).
