GB News is seeking a dynamic Radio Direct Sales Executive to drive revenue through selling advertising opportunities. The role involves building client relationships, tailoring marketing solutions, and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment. Role Summary:
We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Radio Direct Sales Executive to join our commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship opportunities directly to local businesses. You will play a key role in generating revenue by developing strong client relationships and creating tailored marketing solutions that help businesses grow through the power of radio.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prospect and develop new direct advertising clients through cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
· Maintain and grow relationships with existing direct clients to ensure repeat business and long-term revenue growth.
· Identify client needs and craft customized advertising solutions using on-air, digital, and promotional opportunities.
· Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
· Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Work closely with creative and production teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and on time.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activity internal CRM systems.
· Stay up to date with market trends, competitive media, and industry insights to effectively position our brand.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Proven experience in media sales, radio advertising, or B2B direct sales (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of clients.
· Self-starter with a results-driven attitude and the ability to work independently.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Knowledge of local business landscape and marketing trends.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
