Job summary

Saab UK Ltd is expanding its Sensor Systems business and seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to support radar and sensor growth at the Fareham campus. You will work on the Giraffe 1X radar, contribute to product development, and collaborate across engineering functions.

The role requires lifecycle management, systems engineering expertise, and the ability to travel within the UK and overseas. National Security Vetting clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• ISO 15288:2023 and lifecycle techniques.
• Strong technical communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support to bid activities and development of customer demonstrations.
• Requirements derivation and management.
• Radar performance analysis and algorithm development.
• System and sub-system design.
• System Engineering lifecycle management.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and maintain strong engineering relations.
