Job summary

Leonardo UK is recruiting for a Fire Control Radar Systems Engineer to work on advanced radar platforms across lifecycle. You will contribute to Typhoon ECRS Mk0/M-Scan/Mk2 and Saab Gripen radar programmes, shaping design, verification and integration for high‑grade radar systems.

The role demands deep knowledge of systems engineering, RF and DSP, with MBSE, MATLAB and data fusion expertise. Hybrid working with clear security screening is offered in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with high‑performance radar systems.
• Strong Systems Engineering discipline and problem definition skills.
• Familiarity with MBSE, Matlab, and RF systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on radar systems through lifecycle across programmes.
• Contribute to Typhoon ECRS, M‑Scan, Mk2 and Gripen radar systems.
• Apply DSP, RF, and multi‑sensor data fusion and real‑time data simulation.
