Major Recruitment Coventry is seeking a Radan Programmer to join our Banbury facility. This full-time role converts 2D/3D designs into flat pattern programs for our Amada AE 2510 punch machine, ensuring material efficiency and precision before production.

The ideal candidate will have strong RADAN expertise, be meticulous, and able to work autonomously while collaborating with the production team. Office-based, with a competitive salary and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with RADAN programming and nesting.
• Experience with Amada punch layouts is highly advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient flat pattern programs and nests using RADAN.
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings accurately.
• Maximise sheet metal utilisation for cost-effective production.
• Verify programs for errors before sending to manufacturing.
• Meet production timescales to maintain factory workflow.
• Identify and report design or software issues promptly.
• Support wider production team as needed.
