Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is recruiting a CAM Programmer to join a well-established sheet metal fabrication team in Banbury. You will produce flat pattern programs for an Amada AE 2510 using Radan, turning designs into production-ready programs for bespoke and standard products.

Based in an office, you will read engineering drawings, program, nest and tool parts efficiently, and work to production deadlines. A proven track record with Radan and a good understanding of sheet metal fabrication are

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Radan programming, nesting and tooling.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and sheet utilisation.
• Experience with Amada punch layouts is a distinct advantage.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Flexible, quality-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Program, nest and tool flat pattern parts using Radan.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to translate designs into programs.
• Work to production timescales and deadlines.
• Check your own work before issuing to manufacture.
• Report any defects or issues to your line manager.
